It's gonna be awhile before we are back appearing in public. In the meantime we are recording and publishing our work. Stay well, act responsibly.
See you on the other side.
For smaller groups such as ours, public presentations, performed live, in person, with a fully stocked bar seem increasingly unlikely.
Our colleagues and fellow creatives have always performed for micro audiences in "Art spaces" around town. There are enough of us to create and maintain "a scene". This "scene" has transitioned to online presentations. Presumably the "scene" followed them. I've my doubts. Now we compete with Netflix.
So, until a vaccine is developed and widely adopted we are in a holding pattern. How long can the arts hold out?
In the meantime, we create, we dream, we scheme, and we hope.
Working under lock up is a challenge.
Wondering when public gatherings will resume.
We keep working in anticipation of some form of normality returning.
1. Share our music around town and online
2. Build and develop our musical vision
3. Create additional videos
Share our music around town and online with like minded ensembles and individuals. If you have an event, let's talk. We are easy to work with.
Our musical vision? It’s 2020, we make music. It's an end unto itself. Enjoy the experience. The music subtle, so we recommend headphones or large screen TV.
We are now working on our next set of videos that explore more formal structures along with our free improvisation.
